Adaptive Tools

We use a variety of adaptive tools to ensure everyone can participate in our classes. Some are sourced online and some are designed in house. You can take a look at a few of them below.

T Grip

We like these T Grips from Kind Mind for people with severe joint problems or tremor issues. They are most frequently used in our classes in memory care units, but are available in every class.

Adaptive Grips

The adaptive grips from Kind Mind are a go-to for anyone with arthritis, joint issues, and hand mobility problems. We are working on designing our own grips in house inspired by these.

Braces

We have wrist and arm braces available to help manage tremors and provide joint support during activities.

Large grip sculpting tools

Sculpting ribs allow for a large grip and ease strain on joints while still serving their purpose.

Adaptive scissors

In addition to standard scissors , we also have spring loaded scissors available to ease hand strain.

Magnetic Stamps

Designed in house, our magnetic stamping tool allows our stamps to be used with or without the additional ergonomic handle.

Paint tray

Our specialized paint trays ensure that a rag and water are always within easy reach.

Protective equipment

Aprons and table covering are provided to protect participant's clothing and facility tables.
